I’m Keeran — a full-time documentary "reportage" wedding photographer based in Crawley, working across Sussex and the UK. My work centres on telling your wedding day story as it unfolds: the small, unscripted moments, the laughter, the quiet glances and the chaotic joy that make each day unique. After eight years serving in the Grenadier Guards I trained with the Photography Institute and turned a love of people and storytelling into a career. That blend of discipline and sensitivity means I know how to move around a busy day calmly, anticipate moments, and stay out of the way until the moment deserves to be caught. Couples often tell me they barely noticed I was there — then later see whole chapters of their day played back in thoughtfully framed images. What makes my photography special is the focus on natural, unposed imagery. I don’t force smiles or stage contrived scenes; instead I look for genuine connection and emotion, capturing scenes in both colour and black & white so the story reads beautifully across formats. I treat every wedding like a documentary assignment: attention to detail, consistency of style, and an eye for composition that turns ordinary moments into images you’ll revisit for years. How I work with you is simple and personal. I take time to get to know my couples — a face-to-face chat, a relaxed pre-wedding conversation, or even an engagement session if you’d like — so on the day we’re already comfortable together. My priority is creating a calm atmosphere where even camera-shy guests feel at ease. On the wedding day I blend into the background, then step forward when a portrait or family moment needs gentle direction. Photography is what drives me — I love being part of big days, small ceremonies, and everything in between. When I’m not photographing weddings I’m often outdoors with my daughters, walking huskies or flying in my glider. That same sense of curiosity and joy informs how I see and capture your day.
