I’m Steve Phillips — a specialist wedding photographer based in Coventry with a career in press photography that spans more than three decades. My background as a press photographer and picture editor taught me to see moments unfold, react quickly and tell a story with images. How I work: I like to talk with couples before the big day to understand what’s important to them and how much time they want for portraits. On the day I blend into the flow of events, shooting candidly and stepping in only when needed for formal group images or creative couple portraits. I edit each image individually to ensure consistent quality and present a curated set of colour and black-and-white photos that reflect the atmosphere of your wedding. Local to Coventry and working across the Midlands & Wales, I’m used to adapting to a wide range of venues and lighting conditions, from intimate registry ceremonies to larger celebrations. Although weddings are my core focus and specialism, I can also support your event with complementary services: short videos for highlights and photobooth hire through my Cymru Photobooths offering — ideal as an add-on to capture extra fun on the night.
