We are Ted & Tortoise — a Conisbrough-based wedding photography team led by Cordelia. We love simple, no-fuss, candid photography and we specialise in documenting weddings and engagements with a calm, storytelling eye. We’re emotional about the work we do: watching vows, quiet looks and family interactions is what drives us, and it shows in photographs that feel delicate, honest and full of life. How we work with couples: from the first enquiry we aim for a relaxed relationship. We’ll have a chat to understand what matters to you, and we always offer a pre-wedding consultation and a pre-wedding shoot so you can get to know us and feel comfortable in front of the camera. On the day we blend documentary reportage with gentle direction — capturing real moments while stepping in for family portraits and couple time when you want it. For full-day coverage we can work as a two-person team to make sure we don’t miss anything and to capture multiple angles of your celebration. We also offer a pared-back micro-wedding option for smaller, intimate days. The result is professional wedding photos that look and feel like you: natural, warm and thoughtfully edited. After your wedding you’ll receive a curated gallery of images presented privately so friends and family can view your day.
