I’m Elaine Boles and wedding photography is at the heart of what I do. Based in Cobham, Surrey, I specialise in elegant, natural wedding and engagement photography that focuses on emotion, light and the little details that make each day unique. Photography is more than a job for me — it’s a passion — and I bring that energy to every wedding I photograph. My approach is quietly observant and hands-on: I blend documentary-style coverage of the day’s unfolding moments with carefully composed portraits that reflect the personality of each couple. Having trained in a commercial studio and worked across events, portraiture and weddings for more than twenty years, I’ve developed an eye for composition, flattering light and authentic expression. I’m qualified with the British Institute of Professional Photography and the Master Photographers Association, and I’ve been recognised with industry awards — credentials that give couples confidence in the quality and consistency of my work. I like to build a relaxed, friendly relationship with the couples I work with. Before the wedding I’ll take time to listen to your priorities — whether you want natural reportage, classic bridal portraits, or a mix of both — and on the day I aim to help everyone feel at ease so true moments can shine through. I limit the number of weddings I take each year so I can give the careful editing and finishing every image deserves, and I only use high-quality presentation options for albums and prints. While weddings are my speciality, I also offer portrait and personal branding work, so I understand how to bring out natural confidence in front of the camera — a skill that translates into calm, flattering wedding portraits.
