I specialise in wedding photography from Coalville and across the UK, working in a documentary, photojournalistic manner to capture the genuine moments that make each day unique. As a wedding photographer my aim is simple: to be in the right place at the right time and produce images that capture the essence and integrity of your celebration. I take time to familiarise myself with the venue and the atmosphere so I can move naturally through the day, invisible in the background yet ready to record emotion, movement and small details as they unfold. That journalistic mindset means you’ll receive a collection of images that reads like a story — candid exchanges, fleeting glances, laughter and tears — alongside considered frames that reflect the visual composition I seek in every shot. My background in product design and experience teaching photography shaped how I see light, form and narrative; in 2018 I committed to photography full time and since then weddings have been a core focus. I’m easy to get on with, engage well with guests, and I work to create a relaxed atmosphere so people can be themselves in front of the camera. How I work: we’ll talk about your day in advance so I understand the moments you value. On the day I concentrate on reportage-style coverage, stepping in for brief, natural portraits when needed. After the wedding I carefully edit and deliver images designed to stand the test of time — modern, emotive and true to the day. While weddings are my primary focus, I also photograph families and other events with the same journalistic approach when needed.
