I’m Sarah — a Chorley-based wedding photographer who believes the best wedding photographs are the ones that feel true to the day. I specialise in natural, unobtrusive reportage: observing the emotion, atmosphere and small details that together tell the story of your wedding. My aim is simple — to document how your day felt, not just how it looked. Over the years I’ve become known for a relaxed, friendly presence that helps even camera-shy guests feel at ease. I’ve been called “The Stealth Photographer” because I prefer to be quietly present rather than to take over the day. That approach lets me capture the honest, fleeting moments — the laugh you didn’t expect, the tear during the vows, the little exchanges between friends and family — moments that become the photographs you’ll return to again and again. My style balances documentary candid images with thoughtfully composed portraits when the moment calls for it. I’m a pictorial storyteller: I look for sequences and context, building a visual narrative so your album reads like the day itself. While I value spontaneity above all, I also love creating a handful of creative portraits that make beautiful prints and centrepieces for an album. Working with me is collaborative and relaxed. I like to meet couples beforehand to get a feel for the day and to make sure we’re relaxed and prepared — not to impose a plan. On the day I’m flexible, unobtrusive and focused on capturing the moments that matter to you. After the wedding I carefully process and craft the images with a consistent aesthetic so the collection feels cohesive and timeless. I’m proud to be a member of the SWPP and I’m DBS checked. Based in Chorley and serving Lancashire and surrounding areas, I bring professionalism, warmth and an honest love of wedding photography to every celebration.
