I’m Philippa from Pink Elephant Photography — a Cheltenham-based, award-winning wedding photographer who specialises in capturing the real, unscripted moments that make your day uniquely yours. Since becoming a professional in 2013 I’ve built my approach around timeless, natural images and gentle storytelling: fewer cheesy poses, more laughter, emotion and the little details you might miss while you’re celebrating. I won’t take over your day — I aim to blend in with your guests, catch the candid moments (and yes, I’ll probably dance a little in the evening so you get the fun photos too). My goal is that when you look back at your photographs you relive the laughter, the tears, the dad-dancing and the tiny gestures that made the day memorable. My process is personal and straightforward. I like to meet or chat with couples before you book so I understand your plans and personality. On the day I work unobtrusively, focusing on storytelling coverage that captures atmosphere and emotion while still guiding a few natural portraits when needed. After your wedding I carefully edit and prepare your images, delivering them in an easy-to-share, private gallery so family and friends can enjoy them too. I’m fully insured and pride myself on professional service from enquiry to delivery. Although weddings are my core focus, I also love being part of families’ journeys — engagement and bridal shoots are a lovely way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day. Based at my studio just outside Cheltenham (Elmstone Hardwicke), I’m happy to travel across Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds, Worcestershire and the wider UK to capture your celebration.
