I’m Dan Morris, a Cheltenham-based wedding photographer who loves photographing weddings across the Cotswolds and beyond. My work is rooted in a relaxed, documentary approach: I look for the honest, unposed moments that tell the story of a wedding day, then frame those moments with a clean, editorial eye. Over years of shooting at manor houses, barns and country estates, I’ve learned how to balance being unobtrusive with creating striking, timeless images you’ll want to keep forever. I’ve shot at venues across the Cotswolds and Cheltenham area, and I know how to use local light and landscapes to create memorable images. How I work with couples: I begin by getting to know you — what matters on the day, any special family dynamics and the parts of the day you most want to remember. On the wedding day I stay calm and responsive, directing when it helps but otherwise documenting the moments as they unfold. After the wedding I carefully edit and sequence the final images so they flow like a story. Beyond weddings: I also run occasional wedding photography workshops and enjoy street photography as a creative practice that feeds into my wedding work. These are secondary to my wedding work — my core focus is capturing wedding days with clarity and feeling.
