Hi — I’m Chris Greenwood, a Cheltenham-based wedding photographer who lives and breathes Cotswolds weddings. My approach is simple: relaxed, candid and creative reportage. I’m not here to boss you around with awkward poses — I’m here to document the real moments, the tiny in-between glances, the laughter and the tears, the proper stuff that makes your day yours. Why choose me? Because I shoot weddings for the joy of it. I love the pressure of getting the shot and the privilege of being part of people’s best day. My style is documentary-led with a splash of creativity — I’ll be unobtrusive when the moment needs to breathe and gently direct when we want something a bit more composed. That balance means you get natural, honest photographs that still look beautifully considered. How I work: we’ll start with a chat — over coffee, on the phone or via video — so I can get a feel for your plans and personalities. I often recommend an engagement shoot: it’s a brilliant way for us to get comfortable together so on the day you’ll barely notice the camera. On the wedding day I aim to blend in, capture the story as it unfolds and keep the vibe light and fun. I love a full-day celebration — prep to first dance — and I’m happy to adapt to whatever makes your day feel right. What makes my photos different is the way I look for authentic emotion and atmosphere. Years of shooting in barns, tipis, manor houses and quirky venues across the Cotswolds and beyond have taught me to find the light, spot the moments and make even the camera-shy feel relaxed. I’m a bit of a design nerd too, so I care about colour, composition and how your images will look printed — which is why I put time into handmade wedding albums and prints that become treasured keepsakes. On a personal note: I’m an obsessive dog owner (you’ll see photos of my beagle if you hang around my feed), part-time allotment enthusiast and ex-designer — all of which feed into how I see a wedding and the little details that make it unique.
