Hiya — I’m Hayley, a Chapeltown-based wedding photographer who loves photographing real, unscripted moments. I specialise in documentary and candid wedding photography: quietly observing your day, noticing the little interactions, and capturing honest emotions so your photos feel as natural and joyful as the day itself. My aim is to create images that transport you back to how it felt — the laughter, the tears, the silly dance moves and the quiet in-between moments. Why choose me? I’m not all about stiff posing or staged smiles; I prefer to blend in, make people feel comfortable, and step in with gentle direction only when it helps create a beautiful image. Whether you’re camera-shy or used to being photographed, I focus on connection and storytelling so your wedding photos reflect who you are, not a checklist of poses. How I work with couples matters as much as the images I produce. We start with a friendly chat — either over Zoom or in person — so I can understand what you care about and you can get a sense of how I shoot. For many couples a relaxed pre-wedding or couples shoot helps calm nerves and build trust before the big day. On the wedding day I stay attentive and unobtrusive, moving around the day to capture everything from the tiny details to the big reactions. After the wedding I carefully edit each image to reflect my signature style: natural tones, cinematic composition and an emphasis on emotion. I’m proud to shoot weddings across Sheffield, Chapeltown and the Peak District, and I’ll happily travel further for celebrations that matter. My approach is personal and friendly — I treat every wedding as if it were my own and aim to make the whole experience enjoyable, relaxed and memorable.
