I’m Dave — a wedding photographer based in Caterham, Surrey, with more than 20 years’ experience photographing weddings across the South East. My work centres on storytelling: I combine a documentary approach with considered composition to capture those unguarded, emotional moments that make every wedding unique. I always aim to meet couples at their venue before the wedding — that meeting is a chance to get to know each other, walk the spaces, discuss timings and make a simple plan so the day runs smoothly. My background (I’m a Licentiate of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers) and years of experience mean I can handle every kind of lighting and venue, from bright Orangery receptions to low‑light evening settings. I’ve also shot for Blues & Soul magazine, which taught me to work in challenging lighting while staying creative and composed.
