Living in the Lake District for many years has given me a deep love for its landscapes and venues, and I bring that passion to every wedding I photograph. I start with a pre‑wedding consultation so we can plan timings and locations, and I’m happy to offer simple direction for portraits if you or your guests are camera shy — many couples tell me they felt comfortable and natural behind the camera. On the day I document everything from preparation to first dance, using natural and off‑camera lighting techniques to capture texture, mood and detail. After the wedding I carefully edit the images to bring out their natural beauty and present them in a personalised online gallery with options for prints and heirloom albums. Albums and keepsakes are a big part of what I do — I work with handmade, luxury albums to ensure your photographs become a lasting family heirloom. I also offer drone aerial imagery (weather dependent) and twilight shots to add dramatic, memorable images to your collection. Engagement shoots and bridal portraits are available as part of the wedding journey, and I can include portrait and aerial elements as supplements when they add value to your story.
