Hi — I’m Bev, the face behind Beverley Pocock Photography, based in Canterbury and photographing weddings across Kent and Surrey. I’m unapologetically chatty, a proper people person and a mum who’s been called the family ‘paparazzi’. I’ll make friends with your nan and your nephew, crack a few jokes, and be the calm, enthusiastic presence you didn’t know you needed. How I work with couples: I see us as partners in crime — I’ll guide and gently prompt, but mostly I’ll listen and watch for the honest reactions, the hugs, the belly laughs. If you’re up for a little adventure, I’ll happily get on my belly in the bushes to capture THE shot, and I’ll always aim for photos that let you relive the emotion each time you look at them. I’m here to help with timelines, styling suggestions and anything that makes your day run smoother — think of me as an extra supportive friend who just happens to shoot weddings. Being a House Mother to forty teens by day taught me to be patient, upbeat and impossibly organised — qualities that translate into calm, joyful wedding photography.
