I’m Tim Woolcock, a Camborne-based wedding photographer specialising in documentary-style wedding photography across Cornwall. My passion is to record weddings as they unfold: the small, fleeting moments of joy, the unscripted looks, the laughter and quiet details that together tell the story of your day. My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive. I adore photographing relaxed weddings where couples do what they want, when they want. I’m not a bossy photographer — I’ll never try to run your day. Instead I work to put people at ease, interacting gently with family and friends so candid moments can happen naturally. When you do want formal or group shots, I’m happy to set those up too, keeping them efficient so the flow of your celebration isn’t interrupted. Technically I favour natural light and fast lenses that perform in the darker corners of churches and dim receptions, capturing atmosphere and emotion without heavy-handed processing. I edit every image carefully using the latest Adobe tools, aiming for a timeless finish — not over-processed, but true to the moment. My style blends beautifully observed un-posed photographs with a small number of thoughtfully staged images to give you a complete, emotive record of the day. I only accept a limited number of wedding commissions each year so I can give every couple the time and attention they deserve. From our first conversation to the delivery of your images I prioritise clarity, organisation and a friendly working relationship. You’ll find me easy to work with, punctual and focused on capturing your story rather than imposing one. While my core expertise is wedding photography, I can also provide complementary aerial photographs where drone flight is possible — a great way to add dramatic context for coastal and countryside venues. I also undertake occasional architectural commissions, but these are secondary to my wedding work.
