I’m Rob Willis — a Calne-based wedding photographer who loves telling real stories through honest, unobtrusive photography. My approach is rooted in capturing candid, emotive moments that reflect the true atmosphere of your wedding day. Whether it’s the quiet exchange of a vow, a spontaneous laugh with family, or a stolen moment between the couple, I aim to create timeless images that feel natural and full of life. Having come to photography after a long career in the construction industry, I bring a practical, calm eye to each shoot. That experience — paired with my creative passion and CAA A2 CofC drone qualification — means I can skilfully combine traditional stills with aerial perspectives to present your venue and day in cinematic detail. My style is relaxed and personal. I work to blend into the day so I can capture genuine moments rather than staged poses, while still directing where needed to ensure beautiful, flattering images. Engagement and bridal sessions are a great way for us to get comfortable together before the big day; they’re relaxed, enjoyable shoots that often produce some of the most authentic photographs. I use professional kit — Canon R3 and R6 for stills and video, and a fleet of DJI drones selected to suit the location and brief — and I always carry out the necessary risk assessments and permissions for aerial work.
