I'm Karen Parker, the photographer behind Parkwin Photography, based in Bushey near Watford. For more than 18 years I've specialised in natural, relaxed documentary wedding photography — crafted especially for couples who are camera‑shy and want to enjoy their day without it feeling like a photoshoot. With over 400 weddings photographed across the South East, I have the experience and instinct to be in the right place at the right time while being a calm, reassuring presence for you and your family. My approach is simple and personal. From our first conversation to the post‑production and presentation of your images I aim to build a relaxed relationship so you feel comfortable and confident. I always offer a pre‑wedding meeting — when we walk around your venue together I learn where you love to be, what works in photographs, and we do a short mini shoot so you can get used to me and the camera. That mini engagement-style shoot is included in all my collections and helps make your wedding day feel natural and effortless. On the day I photograph the story from getting ready through to the party, staying unobtrusive for most of the time and only stepping forward for any group shots you request. Your images are professionally edited and delivered via a secure gallery, with final images supplied on download or on a personalised USB presentation if you prefer. I aim to run Parkwin Photography as sustainably as possible — using digital-first admin, locally sourced presentation products and rechargeable power where I can — because I want to preserve beautiful days now and for the future.
