I’m Spence Frederick — a Brixton-based wedding photographer specialising in natural, documentary and editorial wedding photography across London, the UK and Europe. Photography for me is about people: capturing honest emotion, small details and the spontaneous moments you’ll want to return to again and again. After more than 18 years and 500+ weddings, I’ve developed an informal, largely unposed approach that keeps your day feeling relaxed while still delivering striking, timeless images. Why choose me? My style blends documentary honesty with a refined editorial eye — I’m careful with composition and light, but I never stage what should feel real. That means you get a visual story of the entire day: morning preparations, your journey to the ceremony, vows, family and group portraits, reception detail, speeches and the evening party — all captured with sensitivity and energy. How I work with couples: I prioritise getting to know you. I arrange two meetings (in person or via Zoom) so we can plan the flow of the day, discuss any bucket-list shots and agree how much time you’d like for couple and group photography. This planning helps me keep styled shots efficient — I routinely achieve beautiful couple and group images within a short window so you can spend more of the day with your guests. For larger weddings I recommend a two-photographer package so we can cover multiple angles and moments without missing a beat. Attention to craft: I personally edit the images from every wedding to ensure an exceptional, cohesive finish. My packages include full edits, your images delivered with full copyright and an online portrait and print store, so there are no hidden surprises. My aim is to produce professional wedding photos that feel honest, emotive and enduring.
