Hi — I’m Simon Clemenger, a Brighton-based wedding photographer with more than two decades in fashion and portrait photography. My work is shaped by that background: a creative, stylish eye honed while assisting and working with leading photographers and many notable faces, combined with a warm, unobtrusive way of working that puts couples at ease. I specialise in photographing weddings in Brighton and across the UK, and I also photograph destination weddings and studio bridal portraits. My signature approach is simple: collaborate closely with couples, understand the feel you want for the day, then let the genuine moments unfold. I’m drawn to atmosphere over staging — capturing laughter, quiet glances and the unexpected details that tell the real story of your wedding. Because of my fashion and celebrity experience, I bring a considered creative edge to every frame — composition, lighting and a confident sense of style — while keeping the experience relaxed and fun. How I work with couples: we start with a conversation about your plans, priorities and what matters most to you. On the day I’m attentive but low-key — moving through the celebration to capture candid moments, while also creating a few posed, editorial portraits when you want them. I can work in venues, on Brighton’s beaches, in a studio for bridal images, or travel for destination weddings abroad. My goal is to produce a cohesive set of images that balance reportage warmth with a stylish portrait sensibility. Beyond photographing the day, I care about how your images live in your home.
