I’m Julie, the photographer behind Lollipop Photography UK, and wedding photography is where I specialise. Based in Bridgwater, Somerset, I shoot weddings with a colourful, classic style and a relaxed vibe — using natural light wherever possible to create images that feel timeless and true to the day. I use the Somerset landscape as often as possible: the Quantock Hills, coastline and country venues provide a rich variety of backdrops through the seasons. How I work with couples is all about collaboration and calm. From our first conversation I’ll listen to your ideas and the parts of the day that matter most to you. On the wedding day I’m hands-on and practical — quietly organising group shots, helping with small emergencies (buttons, bouquets, zips), and always keeping an eye for those fleeting moments you might miss. If you’d like broader coverage, I also collaborate with a trusted second photographer so we can capture both sides of the morning or multiple perspectives throughout the day.
