Hi — I’m Dan from DHW Photography, a Bridgwater-based wedding photographer rooted in Somerset and working across the South West. I believe weddings are a record event in any love story, and my aim is simple: to capture the moments that will last for ever. I specialise in wedding photography, bringing a relaxed, friendly approach that helps couples enjoy their day while I document it honestly and creatively. My style is relaxed and fun — no shouting orders or forced poses. I favour a natural, documentary-led approach that puts authentic emotion first. I’ll blend in with guests, work quietly around the flow of your day and step forward when the moments demand attention. That means you’ll get intimate, candid images as well as a handful of meaningful portraits, without losing time you’d rather spend with friends and family. Working with me is collaborative and low-stress. I encourage a pre-wedding sit-down (a complimentary engagement session is included) so you can feel comfortable in front of the camera before the big day — couples tell me this makes a big difference. On the day I keep formal group shots focused and efficient (usually around six key groups), leaving more time for genuine interaction and those unplanned moments that become the best photographs. I’m local to North Petherton / Bridgwater and travel across Somerset, Devon, Dorset and Cornwall for weddings. My experience photographing everything from small, personal ceremonies to larger, quirky celebrations means I relish meeting couples who want their wedding story told with warmth and honesty.
