I’m Anna — a Bradford-based wedding photographer who loves the messy, joyful, unscripted bits of a wedding day. My work is bright, colourful and very much about people being themselves: the kids running about, grandparents bawling in the front row, last-minute shoe abandonments and the chaos that makes your day unmistakably yours. As a wedding specialist I shoot in a relaxed, documentary style. I won’t force stiff posing or stage-manage your day; instead I move with it. That means I’m often right in the middle of the action — capturing the laughter during speeches, the sweaty dance-floor mayhem, and the quiet five-minute walks where you both finally get to breathe. I will happily stand on a wall, lie in a puddle or do a touch of cheeky trespassing if it gets the shot. What makes my approach different is the combination of warmth and curiosity. I’m chatty, I bring the bants, and I genuinely love getting to know your nan. That relaxed rapport helps even camera-shy couples feel comfortable so the images feel honest and alive rather than posed. I cry at speeches (often) and I delight in those small, deliciously human moments that only a wedding day brings. Working with me is simple and welcoming. Before the day we’ll have a proper chat so I understand what matters to you: whether you want mostly reportage coverage, a handful of family photos, or a gentle wander for couple portraits. On the day I blend in with your guests, find the moments you didn’t even know were happening and hand you natural, joyful photographs that let you relive the fun again and again. I’m based in Bradford and regularly shoot across the Ribble Valley, Lancashire and the North West. While weddings are my core focus, I’m happy to discuss engagement shoots as an add-on if you’d like a bit of practice in front of the camera ahead of your day.
