I’m Gorav — a Birmingham wedding photographer who’s spent the last 18+ years photographing the energy, colour and emotion of Asian and multicultural weddings across the UK and overseas. My goal is simple: create beautiful, timeless images that reflect your day as it really felt, while making the whole experience calm, enjoyable and stress-free. Why choose me? My approach is a balanced mix of candid, photojournalistic coverage and thoughtfully directed portraiture. I get in early, move quietly through the day, and step in when needed to organise group shots or capture a special portrait. I love the unpredictable moments — the laughter, the tears, the dance-floor madness — and I’m just as at home crafting a composed bride-and-groom portrait as I am catching a spontaneous family embrace. Editing and presentation matter just as much as the moment itself. I aim to get it right in-camera, then apply a natural, timeless edit that enhances skin tones, light and detail without relying on quick filters. High-end retouching is included with bookings because I believe your photos should look flawless in print and on the wall for years to come. I also offer pre-wedding (engagement) shoots as a way to get to know couples before the big day — a session that builds confidence, helps us discover flattering locations and ensures we’re relaxed working together on wedding day timing. While weddings are my primary focus, I shoot family sessions locally around Birmingham and the West Midlands as an occasional additional service.
