Hello — I’m Pete, the photographer behind Cinnamon Photography, based on the outskirts of Billericay. For more than 20 years I’ve concentrated on wedding photography, photographing over 700 weddings (mostly at Essex venues). I’m a specialist in natural, reportage wedding photography and I choose to limit the number of weddings I take each year so I can give every couple the care and attention their day deserves. I work primarily with natural light and a calm, adaptable approach so your photographs look and feel authentic — beautifully lit, relaxed and timeless. My approach is simple and personal. Before the day we’ll have a conversation so I understand what matters most to you. On the wedding day I focus on reportage coverage: staying in the moment, blending into the background, and making sure I’m present where the emotion happens without interrupting it. When a quieter portrait moment is right, I’ll guide you gently to create natural, flattering images rather than stiff poses. I photograph weddings across Essex and regularly work at venues such as Ye Olde Plough House, Friern Manor, Crondon Park, The Heron Country Club, Stockbrook Manor, Langtons House, Woodlands House and Leez Priory — and I’m happy to travel further if needed. My experience in event and commercial work also helps me manage timings, adapt to last-minute changes and deliver consistent professional wedding photos under pressure.
