I’m Mark — an Oxfordshire wedding photographer based just outside Bicester, and my work is all about telling the real story of your day. Specialising in documentary/photojournalistic wedding photography, I focus on capturing the unscripted gestures, laughter and quiet seconds that make each wedding uniquely yours. My style is relaxed and natural: I follow the flow of the day, look for genuine connections and chase the light so your images feel honest, timeless and beautifully composed. Growing up in rural Oxfordshire I’ve always been happiest outdoors, chasing light and looking for those fleeting moments. That affection for the landscape and the seasons informs how I shoot: whether you’re marrying in a Cotswold barn, a city church, a marquee or a riverside venue near Oxford, I’ll use the environment to frame your story without interrupting it. I pride myself on making people feel at ease — even if you don’t love being photographed — so the images reflect who you really are rather than staged poses. Working with me is straightforward and friendly. I like to meet (or Zoom) before you book so we can talk plans, venues and the parts of the day that matter most to you. On the day I take a documenting approach while still creating a small number of thoughtful couple portraits and essential group shots — quick, calm and efficient so you don’t lose the flow of the celebration. After the wedding I carefully edit and craft a photographic storyboard of the day that lets you relive those moments for years to come. I’m proud to be known for a warm, unobtrusive presence, attention to light and composition, and an ability to find the little details others miss.
