Hey — I’m Katrina. Based in Berkhamsted and photographing weddings across Hertfordshire and beyond, I specialise in documentary, natural wedding photography that focuses on real emotion, laughter and the little moments you won’t want to forget. My favourite thing is photographing people being themselves. I love creating gentle prompts and fun activities that help couples relax so I can capture those spontaneous, uncontrollable laughs and quiet, intimate moments. I’m not about stiff poses or interrupting the flow of your day — I aim to blend in, anticipate reactions and quietly document the story as it unfolds. Why choose me as your wedding day photographer? Over the years I’ve photographed ceremonies in churches, manor houses, barns and small, alternative venues — and I travel for weddings too. What ties every wedding I shoot together is the focus on personality and atmosphere: whether it’s a cheeky whisper, a tear at the vows or kids running around during the drinks reception, those are the images you’ll return to again and again. How I work with couples: we’ll meet for a chat (I love meeting over coffee) so I can learn what matters most to you. I usually visit the venue beforehand to spot the best light and potential hiding places for candid shots. A relaxed engagement session is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera — it’s a low-pressure chance to practise being photographed and it often becomes one of my favourite parts of the whole process. On the day I’m discreet but ready: I’ll capture the ceremony, guests, natural group interactions and the couple portraits with simple, playful direction so you can just be together. For groups I prefer a few organised shots and then to let conversation and laughter carry the rest. After the wedding I carefully edit your images and deliver them in a private online gallery and with thoughtfully presented keepsakes so you can share and enjoy your photos.
