My photographic style is straightforward: I record events and emotions as they unfold. I make editorial decisions about colour and black & white on the fly — if something reads better without colour, I’ll use black & white; otherwise the images remain true to the day. Typically my work lands around an 80/20 split of colour to black & white, which helps keep the storytelling honest and uncluttered. How I work with couples is simple and down-to-earth. I’ll take time before the day to understand what matters to you, then blend into the background on the day itself. I like to create a relaxed atmosphere where people feel comfortable being themselves. And when the evening turns into a party, I’m not afraid to get on the dance floor to capture the energy and interaction up close — those are often the frames couples love most.
