Hi, I’m Dan — the photographer behind Dan Pix Photography, specialising in wedding photography across Bath, Bristol and the Southwest. I focus entirely on weddings because they’re where my style, energy and passion come together best: creative, fun and informal images that feel genuine rather than staged. My approach is relaxed and contemporary. I aim to put couples at ease so real moments emerge naturally — the shy smile, a private look between partners, the small details that add up to a story. I believe every wedding is made up of a thousand tiny moments, and my role is to quietly recognise and preserve the ones that matter to you. I shoot unobtrusively where possible, blending candid reportage with gentle direction when needed to bring out people’s best, most natural expressions. Working with me is straightforward and personal. I like to meet couples before the day to get to know you, understand what’s important and build a rapport so you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I also favour practical planning — a venue visit, a conversation about timing and a shared idea of the kind of images you want — so on the day I can focus on capturing the flow rather than figuring things out on the hoof.
