Hello — I’m Jamie, a Banbury-based wedding photographer with a simple aim: to capture not just how your wedding looked, but how it genuinely felt. My work grew from a love of street photography in London and from photographing my own family after my sons were born. Those experiences taught me to look for the small, fleeting connections between people — the quiet smiles, the stolen glances, the moments that disappear if you blink — and to frame them in images you’ll return to again and again. I specialise in relaxed, candid wedding photography with a documentary-led approach. I favour unobtrusive, natural storytelling over stiff posing, but I’ll always step in with gentle guidance when it helps create memories you’ll love. Whether we’re working in a grand venue across Oxfordshire, an intimate setting in the Cotswolds or a city celebration in Birmingham or London, my priority is the same: to be a calm, professional presence who makes your day feel easier and more enjoyable. On the day I’ll offer practical help — from timing advice in the run-up to rounding up family for group shots and offering a few calming words when nerves run high. I shoot with professional-grade gear and a considered editing workflow to ensure every image is technically polished while retaining the emotion and atmosphere of the moment. I also photograph engagements and couples sessions, which are a lovely way to get comfortable in front of the camera and create images that reflect your connection. And because family is an important part of my story as a photographer, I’m happy to capture those relationships too — whether that’s newborns, family portraits or children playing — alongside wedding work.
