I’m David K Hobson — an Atherton-based documentary wedding photographer who specialises in capturing your wedding day exactly as it happens. We’ll start with a proper conversation — a consultation where we talk about your plans, the flow of the day and the parts you care about most. On the day I work quietly in the background, blending in so you can enjoy your celebration without interruption. I favour natural light, thoughtful composition and a photojournalistic eye to keep coverage authentic and uncluttered. My presence is calm, my focus is constant, and my intention is to document your story with warmth and clarity. After the wedding I carefully edit your images to preserve the natural tones and emotion of the day. My aim is to deliver a collection of photos that feels true to you: meaningful, sincere and without unnecessary fuss. While weddings are my primary focus and passion, I also shoot occasional portrait and commercial projects.
