I’m Amy Cassidy, a wedding photographer based in Amersham who loves documenting real wedding days with a calm, thoughtful approach. I favour a natural, documentary-led style combined with considered, relaxed portraits so you can enjoy your day while I quietly capture the moments that matter. I’m approachable and easy to work with, and I like to build a friendly relationship with every couple so you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. My process begins with a conversation to understand your priorities and the feel you want for your images. I plan shoots with attention to natural light and locations, aiming to create portraits that feel relaxed and intimate rather than staged. On the day I blend into the background for documentary moments, then gently guide you for portraits that allow you to focus on each other. After the wedding I take care over editing and presentation so your final images reflect the emotion and beauty of the day. Based in Amersham, I cover weddings across London and the South East, bringing local knowledge of venues and lighting conditions to each assignment. While wedding photography is my primary focus and passion, I also work on complementary projects such as family portraits, actor headshots, lifestyle and event photography — always with the same attention to personality and detail.
